"We had the best experience at Charred Oak Kitchen and Bar! Our server Bailey was incredible, super friendly, quick, and made sure everything was perfect the whole time. We started with the Cajun dip, and wow, it was amazing! For dinner, we had the pork chops with squash casserole and mac & cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. Someone in our group got the chicken Florentine with Brussels sprouts, and another got the Rickhouse fries , every single dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. From the service to the food, everything was outstanding. Definitely the best meal we’ve had in a long time and hands down the best spot in town!"

"Wow! The food and cocktails are on point!!! We had fried green tomatoes and bourbon wings for appetizers. Very delicious! Our entrees were NY Strip with collard greens and bourbon salmon with macaroni and cheese and brussel sprouts. Again, very delicious. Our beverages were pomegranate martini and Weller’s old fashion. Very delicious and strong! We also tried the creamed expresso martini (for dessert ) which is a must try cocktail! Our waitress Delaney was very attentive, kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave very good recommendations. This restaurant is a must! We will definitely be back to try other options. Ask for Delaney when you visit! I only rated the environment 4/5 because of the uninviting way the hostess and some of the patrons looked at us when we walked in. I am sure that the environment will become more inviting for all once a little diversity is added to the front room staff. Either way, we are glad that we didn’t let this deter us from dining here."

"Estyna provided excellent customer service and made our experience wonderful. I came with my parents and the server they had last time, Josie, was so kind and came over and spoke with them. We will definitely be coming back!! The food was incredible and the drinks were perfect!!"

"Great atmosphere! We sat at the bar and had some drinks and shared a dinner. For an appetizer we had the fried green tomatoes that we really enjoyed. We had the bourbon glazed salmon. I would have preferred that the salmon was marinated in the glaze rather than grilled plain with the glaze poured over it once it was cooked. The glaze made it taste very syrupy. The Brussel sprouts were amazing! Our drinks were delicious. We’d likely come back for bourbon tastings and cocktails."

"Great experience from start to finish. Our waitress was super attentive and welcoming right when we walked in. Food came out fast, the atmosphere was great, and the double oaked burger was very good , soft, juicy meat with flavorful toppings and the jalapeños added the perfect kick. The espresso martini was also delicious. Definitely coming back!"

"After an hour wait, we were seated. We already knew what we wanted to order. My wife ordered Rickhouse Fries, which is a starter but enough food to make an entree. I ordered a Single Barrel burger without the lettuce, tomato, and onions. I swapped the fries for Mac and Cheese. The food came out very quickly. The burger was a large enough patty that I was thankful I had not ordered a Double Barrel. My wife enjoyed her Rickhouse Fries. She had the Collard Greens on the side in case they were liquid (which they were). The Rickhouse Fries would be better as hand cut rather than the crusted ones used. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was above average. The night was extremely busy and they were slightly overwhelmed with the number of people in the wait list. I would highly recommend this location! I plan to come again when I can sample the brunch menu."

"Started with the shrimp appetizer and they were amazing. Jumbo shrimp with sauce with a kick. Next was Chicken Florentine with grits and mac n cheese. That dish was amazing. The Salmon was next with mashed potatoes and squash casserole. The salmon comes prepared different ways. The bbq was good. Really good food and amazing service made it a great dining experience."

"The restaurant is awesome! The bourbon options were on point, the mixed drinks were tasty. The smoked old fashioned is recommended. Had the shrimp and fried green tomatoes appetizer, my strip and barrel burger. Enjoyed it all. We’ll be back!"
